Trisha's Performance In 96 Is One Of The Best Performances Till Date

96 was released in theatres last week and the film is more than what most of us expected it to be. The film got positive response for its content, acting and music.
Trisha seems to have come back in the game after her see-saw career graph this year like her Malayalam film Hey Jude being a successful venture and Mohini, a disaster at the box-office. She literally enthralled everyone with her performance as Jhanvi aka Jaanu in 96 opposite Vijay Sethupathi.

The film 96 revolved around a high school romance of Ram and Jaanu which is rekindled after 22 years when they meet by coincidence during their reunion. During their meeting, they decide to ignite the old fire in their romance and start bringing back their old memories by going for walks and exchanging each other's likes. Many critics praised the sparkling chemistry between Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha which was made simple and grounded. The songs have been a rage among the listeners and still listened even now as well. The movie was written and directed by C. Prem Kumar and the music was given by Govind Menon.
Vijay Sethupathi has literally broken his record this year with repeated back-to-back hits which have managed to give him a boost in the film industry. This might attract a huge fan following if more films of his release like this.
Looks like after getting only nominations in her career in Kollywood, the award will definitely go to Trisha at various award ceremonies. We can only hope for it.
