Reports suggest that he jetted off to Georgia for the shooting of his upcoming film, Thalapathy 65, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Photos of Vijay from the Chennai airport are doing the rounds on several social media platforms. The shooting of Thalapathy 65 will go on for about a month in Georgia.

Thalapathy Vijay made headlines yesterday when he came on a bicycle to the polling booth to vote in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. After casting his vote, he was spotted at the Chennai international airport late evening on April 6. He was seen wearing a black and white checked shirt.

He jetted off to Georgia for the shooting of his upcoming film, which is tentatively titled Thalapathy 65. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is tipped to be a stylish commercial entertainer.

Vijay surprised everyone when he arrived at the polling booth on his bicycle. Soon, his fans came to know of his arrival and thronged to the polling booth to catch a glimpse of the star. After casting his vote, he reached his home on a scooter with his assistant.

Many suggested that Vijay made a statement against the increasing petrol and diesel rates by coming in a bicycle. However, Vijay's publicist revealed that there was no intention behind his move.

Vijay's upcoming film with Nelson Dilipkumar will see Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
