Thalaivar 170: Rajinikanth's Upcoming Film Welcomes Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati, Fans Express Their Enthusiasm

Over the past weekend, a series of actors have joined the cast of Rajinikanth's Thailaivar 170. The most recent addition is Fahadh Faasil, renowned for his role in "North 24 Kaatham." Rana Daggubati's participation in the film had been previously announced. Lyca Productions took to social media on Tuesday to introduce the new addition.

Previously, stars like Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan had also been announced as part of the team. Ritika expressed her gratitude in a tweet, saying, "Damn! I'm not even able to see through my tears right now. An opportunity to share the screen with Rajni Sir and the entire stellar cast and crew of #Thalaivar170 is straight out of my dreams, and I'm immensely grateful for this opportunity! What a moment!"

Anirudh Ravichander, known for his work with Rajinikanth in "Jailer," Vijay in "Leo," and Shah Rukh Khan in "Jawan," has also joined the team as the film's music director.

TJ Gnanavel is directing the film, with previous credits including the Suriya-starrer "Jai Bhim"

Rajinikanth is also working on Thalaivar 171, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for films like "Master," "Kaithi," "Vikram," and "Leo."

Rajinikanth's most recent film, "Jailer," directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, was released worldwide on August 10 and surpassed ₹650 crore in worldwide collections in mid-September. The film also starred Vasanth Ravi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan in significant roles and featured the Tamil debut of Kannada superstar Rajkumar's son, Shiva Rajkumar. Jackie Shroff and veteran Malayalam actor Mohanlal made special appearances in the film.
