Thala Ajith's Viswasam background score copied in Marjaavan, D Imman writes angry tweet

Viswasam music director D. Imman tweeted that the makers of Marjaavan had copied the background tune from the Tamil film and had not given credits.

Viswasam, starring Thala Ajith, was one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, owing to action and drama sequences as well as its soundtrack. Yesterday, the trailer of Bollywood film Marjaavan hit the web, and fans were upset to hear the Viswasam theme playing in the background.

D. Imman, the music director of Viswasam, tweeted, "Totally Not aware of the 'Viswasam' Bgm score used in the Hindi trailer 'Marjaavan'. No prior notification from the production house nor the audio label."

After Imman's tweet went viral, the makers of Marjaavan edited the description of the trailer on YouTube to give credits to the composer.
