Suriya’s Kanguva Receives U/A Certification, Set for November 14 Release

Directed by Siva, Kanguva is a fantasy action-adventure set in a medieval backdrop, where Suriya portrays a tribal warrior. The film also features Bobby Deol making his Tamil debut as the antagonist, while Disha Patani stars as the female lead.

Regarded as one of the most ambitious projects of Suriya’s career, the actor shared his excitement about the film at a recent promotional event. He described Kanguva as a "labor of love" and credited filmmakers like SS Rajamouli and Rishab Shetty for inspiring such creative ventures. Suriya also revealed that the film was shot entirely with natural lighting, without the use of artificial lights, creating a raw and authentic visual experience.

Produced by Studio Green and UV Creation, Kanguva is all set to hit theaters on November 14, 2024.
