'Rudhran' to release on 400+ screens in Tamil Nadu
Raghava Lawrence's 'Rudhran' is slated to release on April 14 for the Tamil New Year festival. '
'Rudhran' is releasing along with 5 other Tamil movies on April 14, and it's going to be a tough box office battle. 'Rudhran' managed to be the top among all, and the film has been reportedly released on over 400 screens in Tamil Nadu. The positive reviews for the film might make the film get more screens in the upcoming days, and the bookings for the family entertainer look solid.
Meanwhile, a puzzle among the fans is whether the recent interim ban against the film was revoked or not. 'Rudhran' makers increased the dubbing rights deal after closing it for 4 crores 50 lakh rupees with a popular production house which got them in trouble. Madras High Court issued an interim ban to release 'Rudhran' till April 21 in response to the petition filed against the makers. But there has been no update about the ban, and the makers proceeding ahead with the film's release looks like they have sorted out the issue to find a smooth release for the film.
Directed by Kathiresan, 'Rudhran' features Raghava Lawrence and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the main roles, while Sarathkumar plays the antagonist to battle against his 'Kanchana' co-star. Reported to be a family entertainer packed with romance, comedy, action, and sentiment, the film has music scored by GV Prakash Kumar.
