Rajinikanth and Nayantara to reunite in AR Murugadoss’s next.

Actor Nayantara will be pairing with Superstar Rajinikanth in the upcoming film directed by AR Murugadoss.

Both were seen last in Kuselan though both the actors were in the cameo role.

This is the first time AR Murugadoss and Rajinikanth will work together.

Santosh Sivan the ace cinematographer is working with Rajinikanth after 2 decades after Mani Ratnam’s Thalapathy.

Over the last few days, rumors about the film’s casting have been making the rounds. Reports claimed that actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah is also part of the cast. Putting these reports to rest, Rajinikanth publicist Riaz Ahmed on Monday took to Twitter to announce that only Nayanthara has been signed so far.

It is rumored that Rajinikanth plays a cop in the film. His look from the test shoot leaked last week, much to the shock of his fans. If everything goes as planned, the film is most likely to go on the floors on April 10 in Mumbai.

The film will be produced by Lyca Productions. This is their third outing with the superstar Rajinikanth after Kaala and 2.0.
