‘Raatchasi’ Movie Trailer: Jyothika starring as a teacher is set to fight against politics in education system.

The trailer showcases the actress as a bold teacher who is recruited at a govt. the school where things are not going well.
Jyothika is back again with a strong female character in ‘Raatchasi’ where she is seen as a teacher.
Interestingly, Jyothika was last seen playing the role of a teacher in her 2003 blockbuster hit Kaaka Kaaka directed by Gautham Menon in which she starred opposite Suriya.

Geetha Rani (Jyothika) who is on a mission to revamp the government school she is working for. Struggling yet determined, the trailer has the protagonist fighting against forces who do not wish any better for the children of the state-owned schools.
Throughout the trailer, she is seen posing certain difficult questions to both her students and colleagues which rattle the higher-ups in the school management. While Jyothika talks about setting aside 50% of the seats for the poor in private schools, the school management is set on throwing her off from the job by hook or crook.
In one particular moment, a political leader says to Geetha that it’s his town to which she replies, ‘It’s my school’.
Produced by SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures, the project will also mark the directorial debut of Gowtham Raj. The film will be hitting the theatres in June.
