Politics is a snake and ladder game, Gayathri utters the bad guy to the protagonist. And Paramapadham Vilayattu literally means Snake and Ladder game.
The Trailer starts out with Gayathri (Trisha), who plays a doctor, speaking to the media and giving them a brief about Chezhiyan, who is later revealed to be the Chief Minister.

Members of a political party are seen in a CCTV footage as someone’s voice-over gives instructions to block out the CCTV. We see the shadow of a man facing a massive crowd and can hear him taking an oath, presumably as Chief Minister.
Trisha is seen playing the role of a doctor and tending to the state head in a hospital. She plays mother to a young girl who is hard of hearing and is also speech impaired.

The film has been directed by K Thirugnanam and has been produced by 24 Hrs Entertainment. Music is being handled by Amrish. Nandha, AL Azhagappan, Vela Ramamoorthy, Richard, and Chaams also star in the film.
