Mohini Movie Review: Good On Paper But Terrible On Screen
Mohini is the upcoming horror flick starring Jackky Bhagnani and Trisha in the lead roles. The film is slated to release today.
Mohini is just like Manichitrathazhu but with a modern twist. The film is about Vaishnavi (Trisha) a chef based in London along with her assistants Balki and Panju. Just like every film, love at first sight happens to her when she meets Sandeep (Jackyy Bhagnani) and eventually they get married.
But their happily-ever-after life gets noticed by an evil eye when Vaishnavi finds a conch at a boat which emits a spirit which turns out to be Mohini (also played by Trisha), which starts creating various problems in their married life and her unfinished desires include killing of a man (Mukesh Tiwari) who happens to have a connection with Sandeep. Even Sandeep becomes her target and the movie follows with a question mark about what is going to happen next? and will Mohini succeed in her efforts?
It has been 13 years since most of us watched Chandramukhi, which had a similar plot of salvation and a mix of horror in it. If you are planning to watch this, it would be like watching modern version of Chandramukhi all over again.
