Master team practises social distancing: Malavika Mohanan video-calls Vijay and Anirudh, posts screenshot

The coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire world to a standstill. Actor Vijay's upcoming film Master, which was supposed to hit the screens on April 9, has been postponed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

However, it looks like the team cannot stay away from each other and is finding ways to keep in touch during the 21-day lockdown period. On March 26, Actress Malavika Mohanan posted a picture with actor Vijay, composer Anirudh Ravichander and Master co-producer Jagadish on a group video call. 

The actress mentioned a popular phrase from one of the songs in the film and wrote that the Master team is practicing social-distancing. "Problems will come and go..konjam chill panu maapi! How we hang out when we can’t really hang out. Team Master’ is social-distancing. Are you? (sic)." she wrote.

Malavika's latest post on Twitter with the Master team is going viral. In one of the actor's earlier tweets, she urged people to stay at home and requested them to take necessary precautions to contain the spread of the virus. She wrote, "The health of my parents, my brother, my loved and close ones is my most important priority in life. Us being irresponsible and negligent puts them in danger of contracting harmful virusus. Stayhome. (sic)."

Master is touted to be an action-thriller and Vijay will be seen playing the role of a college professor. Major portions of the film were shot in Delhi and Chennai. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea Jeremiah, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das and Gouri Kishan who have been roped in to play pivotal roles in the film.
