Karthi's 'Sardar' is ready for a grand Diwali release on October 21

While the espionage thriller film is all set release soon, the makers have now released the trailer of the film.

As reported earlier, the trailer confirms that Karthi plays dual roles of father and son in the story. While the elder Karthi plays, Sardar, an international spy of repute and is a master of disguise, the son seems to be publicity hungry police officer named Vijay Prakash. An important file goes missing, which has the secrets of the Indian military, and Vijay Prakash takes up the mission to get fame.

Produced by Lakshman of Prince Pictures, the film has Raashi Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan and Simran in important roles and the cast also includes Munishkant, Chunky Pandey, Prince and Murli Sharma. While GV Prakash is composing music for the film, George C Williams is the cinematographer with Ruben handling the editing.
