Kamal Hassan made his debut on Instagram just a month ago(June) in 2018. Ever wondered why?

Almost every celebrity however prominent or famous they are has made their share of flourish in the social media realm. We can’t think of many actors with the same reason Kamal Hassan; a renowned actor, politician, friend, father and human being joined the photographic domain media of the 21st century internet.

Vishvaroopam 2 is up to hit theatres in less than 3 weeks from now. When the trailer was released it made its buzz on its release on 11th June, it made the top news. But just as any trailer which doesn’t follow a heavily funded advertising strategy, the existence of the Kamal Hassan upcoming movie starts to topple down the ‘need to watch’ movie list of the masses.

Getting back to the point.. Kamal Hassan made his instagram debut to promote Vishwaroopam 2. He’s been fairly active also putting up some breathtaking pictures of himself! A picture of him and his beautiful daughters. Giving us a ‘daddy goals’ emotion.

Not just for promotion purposes. Celebrities use the instagram feed to be influencers. They can use this platform to reach out and openly reach out to their fans and audiences about issues, causes, various environmental and political happenings. Kamal Hassan has been one such influencer.

Today I was proud and humbled! I met many talented dancers, a talented lumberjack turned singer and a group of Tamil scentists headed by an 18 year old.
