Kamal Haasan leaves for the US to shoot for 'Indian 2'

He is now heading to the US to continue the shoot for 'Indian 2.' Kamal Haasan's long-delayed 'Indian 2' is the sequel to the 1996 classic film of the same title, directed by Shankar. The film is slated for release in April 2024 and stars Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Guru Somasundaram, among others.

'Thug Life' marks Kamal Haasan's collaboration with Mani Ratnam after 34 years since 'Nayakan.' The film features a star-studded cast, including Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jayaram, Joju George, and Gautham Karthik. The promo teaser of the film created significant buzz, and the movie's music is composed by A R Rahman.

On the work front, Kamal Haasan will be seen in Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki AD 2898,' a science fiction film set for release on May 9. The movie stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in lead roles.
