Kaala looking at low advance booking during releasing week.

What could possibly be the reason for the lowest buzz for a Rajinikanth's film?
Tamil Nadu looks at the muted pre-buzzing around Rajinikanth's new film 'Kaala'. The usual excitement and madness surrounding a Rajinikanth's new movie is clearly not present.
Most multiplexes and screens opening up for the release are showing unusual patterns of behaviour for advance booking. The opening day June 7th is slowly filling up but through the weekend it is unusually Dull.
Trade sources compare the pre buzz to previous Rajinikanth's films where tickets were sold out for the entire week on opening day.
Most explanations for the low key advance booking go back to Rajinikanth's recent political statement regarding the controversial Thoothukudi incidents. Rajinikanth's by now famous comments on the issue have not gone down well amongst a section of people in Tamil Nadu.
Another reason being the opening day of the movie is causing some problems due to the reopening of schools and the monsoon effect in many parts of the state have dampened the excitement of family audiences.
The increasing of ticket rates for the opening weekend may also be a major cause in shortage of advance bookings.
