Jyothika's 'Jackpot' Releasing this week : Jyothika and Revathy Essay a variation of Buddy Comedy!

Jyothika, who was last seen playing a school principal in Raatchasi, and Revathi who played a District Collector in Keni, are uniting for the very first time in Jackpot.

Jyothika is donning the khaki for the second time in her acting career after she played a cop in Bala’s 'Naachiyaar'. Interestingly, Jyotika has done some fight sequences without going for a stunt double. Both the lead actresses were also seen in a doctor uniform.

As the film inches closer towards the release date, the makers have dropped two character posters with Jyothika and Revathy donning cowboy hats. This makes us wonder if they are cops or bounty hunters in the movie!

Touted to be a black comedy with a touch of action sequence and drama with enough commercial elements and ample comedy from Yogi Babu. The film also stars Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Anandraj, Rajendran and Mansoor Ali Khan. Produced by Suriya under his banner 2D Entertainment, the film has music by Vishal Chandrasekar and cinematography by Anand Kumar. The film is expected to hit the screens on August 2.
