Junga is a mafia comedy film starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sayyesha in lead roles. The film releases today.
Junga begins with Junga (Vijay Sethupathi) who works as a bus conductor and hopelessly falls in love with a Telugu speaking girl (Madonna Sebastian in a cameo) but turns to violence when she gets harassed by the eve-teasers.
The main important highlight of this film is the plot of a dreaded don who wants to grab Junga's ancestral property which houses the iconic movie theatre which will be demolished to make way for a shopping mall. The family of Junga has an ancestral lineage of being members of Mafia drowned in wealth. The family also host extravagant parties for gang's successful exploits ranging from
Junga has only one goal in his mind and that is to get back what was rightfully his and his family. He heads to Paris to kidnap the don's only daughter (Sayyesha) which adds more chaos when another gang kidnaps her for real.
The film is filled with a lot of gags and buffonery moments which are so heart-warming and enjoyable with family. Vijay gives full justice to his role.
