Vijay's highly anticipated film GOAT is set for a grand release on September 5, marking its debut on big screens worldwide. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film is a commercial entertainer that reportedly includes a cricket match sequence.

Former Indian cricketer Subramaniam Badrinath has confirmed his appearance in the film and shared the news on social media, posting a picture from his dubbing session with the caption "The Greatest Of All Time." Badrinath, who has been active as a commentator post-retirement, is expected to feature in a scene related to his real-life profession during the cricket sequence.

There are also rumors that MS Dhoni will make an appearance in the film, particularly in the cricket sequence, which is said to feature an intense moment from an IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. This potential appearance has generated significant excitement among fans.

GOAT features an ensemble cast including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, Ajmal, and Premgi Amaren. The film’s music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography handled by Siddhartha Nuni. The movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, and is set to screen in over 5000 theaters globally.
