Halitha Shameem’s upcoming film 'Minmini'to hit the screens on August 9, 2024

Director Halitha Shameem's upcoming film "Minmini," which has been in the making for about seven years to capture the real growth of the actors, is set to release on August 9, 2024.
The film features Esther Anil, Praveen Kishore, and Gaurav Kalai in lead roles. The audio and trailer of the film were released recently, showcasing the coming-of-age story that follows two youngsters dealing with survivors’ guilt. The film also includes a group of child artists from Halitha's debut film "Poovarasam Peepe."
The more than two-minute trailer offers a glimpse into the feel-good nature of the film. Notably, Khatija Rahman, the eldest daughter of renowned composer AR Rahman, makes her debut as a music composer in "Minmini." The technical crew includes Manoj Paramahamsa as the cinematographer and Raymond Derrick Crasta as the editor.
