Dhanush's Raayan Receives A Certificate, Set for July 26 Release

Dhanush's second directorial venture, Raayan, slated for a July 26 release, has received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), as announced by production house Sun Pictures.

The poster shared on social media depicts Dhanush walking through a blood-covered path with the tagline "Blood is thicker than everything."

Previously titled D50, Raayan marks Dhanush's dual role as director and lead actor. The film also stars Nithya Menen, Sundeep Kishan, SJ Suryah, and Kalidas Jayaram. A.R. Rahman has composed the soundtrack, while Om Prakash handled cinematography.

Dhanush's last appearance was in Arun Matheswaran’s Captain Miller, released in January, and currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, he is set to portray legendary music composer Ilaiyaraaja in an upcoming biopic directed by Arun Matheswaran.
