Dhanush starrer Karnan gets a release date

On February 14, the makers of Dhanush's upcoming film Karnan treated the fans by announcing the film's release date. According to the latest announcement, Karnan will release in theatres worldwide on April 9. Dhanush released the new poster of Karnan and stressed that the film will have a "theatrical release." Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the film is tipped to be a hard-hitting thriller.

Dhanush's forthcoming film Karnan will hit the theatres worldwide on April 9. Director Mari Selvaraj, Dhanush and the rest of the team announced the release date to be April 9. The film's shooting resumed after several restrictions were lifted and were wrapped up by December 2020.

The actor released the Tamil and English posters of Karnan and wrote, "#Karnan first look and “THEATRICAL RELEASE” date !! (sic)." In the poster, Dhanush is bruised and has an intense expression on his face. He is also handcuffed and we can see hundreds of people standing behind him.

Director Mari Selvaraj released the posters and announced the release date. He wrote, "The Soul of Justice never dies." With great delight, sharing with you the much-awaited first look of #Karnan & the release date (sic)."

Jagame Thandhiram was supposed to release in theatres. However, Sashikanth received a great deal from an OTT giant for direct streaming. An official announce regarding Jagame Thandhiram's release date is yet to be made.
