The trailer as all the swag of Superstar with his immortal style and screen presence.
The Trailer begins with the usual trademark intro of Rajini with his stylish walk and goons flying on air.
He is introduced as a no-mercy cop in Mumbai who has a rival Suniel Shetty who challenges the whole police department. Rajini even as a love interest played by Nayanthara.
The trailer has all the traits of a mass entertainer with Rajini's punch dialogue, even he utters the famous dialogue from 16 Vayithinile 'Idhu Epdi Irrukku'.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Darbar marks his first-time collaboration with Rajinikanth. The film also has Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Yogi Babu, Jeeva, Prakash Raj, Nivetha Thomas, Dalip Tahil, Soori, Harish Uthaman, Manobala, Suman, Anandaraj, Rao Ramesh and Bose Venkat in the cast. Darbar is produced by Lyca Productions.
