Darbar Movie: Transwoman Jeeva landed a crucial role in Rajinikanth's Darbar.

Actor Jeeva was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi’s 'Dharmadurai'.
AR Murugadoss’s Darbar, which features superstar Rajinikanth in the role of a cop after 25 years, is currently in its second schedule in Mumbai. The project, which is being produced by Lyca Productions, marks the first time collaboration between AR Murugadoss and Rajinikanth. It is already known that the film stars Nayanthara, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, and Yogi Babu among others.

The latest addition to the star cast is transwoman actor Jeeva, who was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi’s Dharmadurai. A picture featuring Rajinikanth with Jeeva has gone viral on social media and it is believed that she’s been roped in for an important role in the film. Confirming the news, Seenu Ramasamy, who directed Dhamadurai, shared a pic of Jeeva with Rajinikanth and wished her.

The project marks the Tamil debut of Suniel Shetty and Prateik Babbar, who play the antagonists in this highly anticipated film and it is believed that Prateik will play Suniel’s brother in the film. Recently Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh was also roped in. According to sources, Yograj will be seen playing a very important role in the film.

The film also stars Prakash Raj, Nivetha Thomas, Prateik Babbar, Dalip Tahil, Yogi Babu, Soori, Harish Uthaman, Manobala, Suman, Anandaraj, Rao Ramesh and Bose Venkat in supporting roles.
