Bigil Movie: Thalapathy Vijays upcoming film titled as 'Bigil', spots as gangster and football player in posters.

It was a joyful moment for fans to see their superstar's upcoming film title announcement. Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film is titled as 'Bigil' which is directed by Atlee. This is the third consecutive film from the duo after two blockbusters Theri and Mersal.

Makers revealed the three posters on 21st and 22nd June regarding Vijay's 45th birthday.

The first poster shows Vijay in two get-ups, one an elderly man in a veshti (traditional dhoti) and shirt, and the other a young footballer. The two of them strike a pose in what looks like a fish market, with the older man looking grim and menacing.

The second poster shows 4 different avatars of Vijay which includes young, middle age and the older man.

In the last poster, Vijay can be seen donning the football jersey along with the lungi. In the poster, the superstar is holding the chain. The name of his character is Michael which is evident on his jersey.

With the release of the first poster itself, the rumors around Vijay's double role in this film - that as a father and a son were cleared. Also, the buzz around the film is based on football too stands true. 

The film is described to be a "sports action thriller" and also has Nayanthara in the lead. Others in the cast include Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Vivek, Daniel Balaji, Varsha Bollamma, Anandraj, and others.

Bigil is expected to release for Deepavali 2019. The last two Deepavali has also belonged to Vijay, with Mersal and Sarkar setting the box-office on fire. The film has music by AR Rahman and has been produced by AGS Entertainment.
