Annaatthe: Rajinikanth's upcoming film gets a title.

Rajinikanth's upcoming film is now titled as Annaatthe. The announcement was made by the official Twitter handle of Sun Pictures, the production house backing the film. A short video clip unveiling the new title was shared on the micro-blogging site.

Annaatthe is directed by Siruthai Siva and stars an array of talented actors including Khushbu, Nayanthara, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori in pivotal roles. The shooting of the film is still underway. 

Keerthy Suresh will reportedly play the role of Rajinikanth's daughter in the film. An official confirmation, however, is awaited on the same. 

Rajinikanth began shooting for the film in December 2019. The film's music composer, D Imman took to Twitter and shared a photo with the superstar from the sets. He captioned the pic as, "Met the Man of Simplicity our dear @rajinikanth sir on the first day of shoot today which had commenced with a song! His positive words about the song was so encouraging!What an aura! What an energy this man spills to the world around him! Breathtaking! Praise God!"

Rajinikanth was last seen in AR Murgadoss's Darbar. He shared screen space with Nayanthara and fans were elated to find out that the duo has teamed up yet again in Annaatthe.
