Actress Malavika Mohanan will pair with Thalapathy Vijay in Thalapathy 64.

Sources close to the team confirmed that Petta actress Malavika Mohanan has been roped in to play the lead role in Vijay's upcoming film.
Malavika Mohanan has been setting the internet on fire with her recent photoshoot on social media. The actress was last seen in Tamil in Rajinikanth-starrer Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
It has been confirmed that Malavika Mohanan has been roped in to play the heroine in Thalapathy 64, which will be helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Sources close to the film's unit revealed the same and added that the announcement regarding the film will be out soon.
If rumors are anything to go by, the shooting of Thalapathy 64 will commence in late-October or early-November.
