Whether Mohanlal’s Barroz eyeing December 2024 release?

Reports indicate that the makers are aiming for a December 19 release, coinciding with the same date his blockbuster film Drishyam premiered in 2013. While the release date hasn't been officially confirmed yet, theater chains have already been alerted, and a formal announcement is expected soon, possibly accompanied by a special video glimpse.

The film Barroz has faced some hurdles, including a legal dispute where George Thundiparambil, a Keralite based in Germany, issued a legal notice accusing Mohanlal and the team of plagiarizing the storyline of his novel Maya. Despite this, a preview screening of Barroz was recently held in Mumbai for the film’s team, signaling that the project is moving forward toward its release.
