Ranam is a one-of-a-kind thriller starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. The film revolves around the serious issue of Drug Trafficking.
Once a person decides to get into the path of crime because of misery or if the situations force a person to walk that path, it is impossible to get out of there as the shadow of evil will never let you live in peace. Ranam (Detroit Crossing) deals with it.
The plot revolves around Aadhi (Prithviraj Sukumaran) who is a right-hand man for a man who runs the biggest drug cartel in Detroit, Michigan, United States. He is tired of living a life where everyone is double-crossing each other in the pretext of the greed for money. He decides to start fresh by running away from the depths of the underworld. Along with that, he needs to even ensure the safety of his loved ones.
The film is shot extensively in Detroit and the best part about the film is that it is giving the Hollywood film feels when it comes to action and violent sequences, they remind me of the ones which most of the Hollywood movie buffs have been used to seeing in films like Goodfellas, Scarface and many others you can think of.
This film will be a sure-shot entertainer in the box office and you will have a hearty time when you watch Prithviraj Sukumaran pulling off the intense scenes be it the gruesome fight in the bus or the intense standoff sequence. Don't miss this one!
