Modified On: 21 December 2018 | Reviewed By: Rohan MPretham 2 Movie Review: Pretham 2 happens to be the sequel to Pretham and this one is made to connect with the audience of today.
The first installment Pretham did a very good business at the box office and the story of the plot managed to keep the audience hooked. Owing to the success, the film released the sequel titled Pretham 2.
The film revolves around a bunch of 5 youngsters who are part of a social media group meet together for a film shoot. The youngsters plan to shoot a short film in the area called Mullasheri Mana and almost everyone participates in the video. But then the gang is disturbed by a bunch of eerie sounds which start emerging from that area and that disturbs their shoot frequently.
The only person who comes to the rescue is our very own Mentalist Don John Bosco (Jayasurya), the mentalist who is back with tricks up his sleeve. Apart from the scary moments, there are sequences where some comic relief will be expected from the audience's aid. Anand Madhusoodhan has worked really hard in giving the background score to the film.
The director Ranjith Shankar, who had directed the previous film Pretham has used the method of directing the film by adding modern elements. The modern elements include social media, piracy and cybercrimes. These elements will be more than enough to cater to the audience of today who are addicted to technology.

The first half of the film is quite gripping and intense but the second half is quite predictable. But otherwise, the film is an entertaining watch to enjoy this weekend.
Overall, this film is a must watch to lighten up your boring mood.
