Nivin Pauly Denies Sexual Assault Allegations, Vows to Fight Legal Battle Following Case Filed in Kerala

The woman alleged that she was lured with promises of a film role and subsequently sexually assaulted abroad by a group of six individuals, including Mr. Pauly, who was named as the sixth accused.

In an urgent press conference on Tuesday evening, Mr. Pauly declared, "I don't know this woman; I have never met or spoken to her. These accusations are completely baseless, and I will go to any lengths to prove my innocence." He further explained, "It will take time for the truth to surface, and I am fully prepared to cooperate with the investigation. About 45 days ago, the police informed me about the complaint, and I clarified that I had never encountered the complainant, leading to the case being closed."

Mr. Pauly hinted at a possible conspiracy, suggesting that others might be involved in these allegations. He reassured that his family, particularly his mother, stands firmly behind him. On social media platform X, he reiterated his stance, emphasizing that the allegations are entirely false and promising to pursue legal action to expose those responsible.

Sources suggest that the woman's complaint was filed in the wake of the Hema Committee report, which brought to light widespread sexual exploitation in the Malayalam film industry. The Kerala Police have registered the case and will transfer it to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up to investigate such cases within the industry.
