Mammootty’s ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ going to hit the cinemas soon

The makers though haven’t locked the release date yet,they have confirmed that the film will hit the cinemas soon. The Lijo Jose Pellissery’s directorial has Mammootty in the lead role.

Written by S Hareesh, ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ had its world premiere at the 27th IFFK’s International Competition category. On IFFK’s website, the summary of the Mammootty starrer reads, “A group of Malayali travellers were returning to Kerala by bus after their visit to Velankanni. They all doze off in a lazy nap after lunch. Like a traveler who forgot his destination, James stops the bus in a village in Tamil Nadu. He starts to speak in Tamil like a native of the place, Sundaram, and behaves like him, confusing all who came with him and the villagers alike. He walks amidst faith, delusion, dream and trance, followed by others.”

On the technical front, Theni Eswar has captured the visuals for the film, and Deepu Joseph is the editor. Gokul Das is the art director, and the sound designing is done by Renganath Ravee. Ronex Xavier is makeup artist for the film.
