‘Makal’: Jayaram-Meera Jasmine starrer is a complete family entertainer

Veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad’s next ‘Makal’ is all set for release, and the makers have launched the trailer for the film. Featuring Jayaram, Meera Jasmine, and Devika Sanjay in the lead roles, ‘Makal’ is touted to be a family entertainer.

Jayaram and Meera Jasmine apparently plays an interfaith couple, with a teenage daughter. The trailer suggests that Jayaram plays a Dubai returnee, who starts a pickle business after returning to his hometown. The trailer also gives a glimpse into some unexpected incidents that change the course of their lives.

Helmed by Sathyan Anthikad, ‘Makal’ is written by Dr. Iqbal Kuttipuram. Along with the trailer, the makers have confirmed that the film is releasing in the cinemas on April 29.

S Kumar ISC is the cinematography director, and K Rajagopal is the editor. Vishnu Vijay is the music director, Rahul Raj is composing the background score, and Harinarayanan is the lyricist.
