'Kumari’ mythological horror movie hitting the big screens on October 28th

Prithviraj Sukumaran, whose production company is bankrolling ‘Kumari’, took to his official Instagram handle to share the motion poster of the movie.

Earlier the makers unveiled an intriguing teaser for ‘Kumari’ that received much adulation from the netizens. The teaser had a creepy vibe that resembled movies like ‘Tumbbad’ and ‘Kuruthi’. From the teaser, it's sure that the makers are trying to bring a new style of mythological horror to Malayalam film industry. Also, the teaser posits that the whole movie will be narrated from the point of view of Aishwarya Lekshmi’s character ‘Kumari’.

Helmed by the ‘Ranam’ director Nirmal Sahadev, the script of ‘Kumari’ is also penned down by the director himself along with the writer Fazal Hameed. Abraham Joseph is roped in as the cinematographer of ‘Kumari’ and the music is composed by Jakes Bejoy. Sreejith Sarang handles the editing and coloring department of ‘Kumari’ and Dhilip Subbarayan is roped in as the stunt choreographer.

Apart from Aishwarya Lekshmi, ‘Kumari’ also features the actors Shine Tom Chacko, Swastika Vijay, Giju John, Unni Mukundan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tanvi Ram, and Shivajith in significant roles.
