The release date of the Tovino Thomas starrer Kilometers And Kilometers have been postponed amid coronavirus threat. As four more coronavirus cases were reported in Kerala, the team has decided to postpone the release of the movie.

“As we came to know that the best precaution against the spread of COVID-19 is avoiding mass gatherings, we have decided to postpone the release,” Tovino Thomas announced taking to his social media handle. The movie was earlier scheduled to release on March 12 in the cinemas. The actor also added that this movie is the hard work and dream of many, but right now their concern is about the health of the people around them. 

Tovino concluded the note with a hopeful message that 'we will survive and overcome the threat, as we have become a role model for the world by defeating the Nipah virus outbreak’. The actor has also requested his fans and followers to follow the directives given by the health ministry. The makers haven’t unveiled the new release date yet and Tovino has added that they will announce it later.

Directed by Joe Baby of 2 Penkuttikal fame, Kilometers And Kilometers are backed by Ramshi Ahamed, Anto Joseph, Sinu Sidharth and Tovino Thomas under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company and Ramshi Ahamed. The movie also marks the maiden production venture of the actor. On the technical front, Sinu Sidharth is cranking the lens for which Rahman Mohammed Ali and Prejish Prakash will manage the edits. Sooraj S Kurup is in charge of the music department and Sushin Shyam is handling the background scores.
