The film is said to be based on Shakespeare's Macbeth. The film is the third collaboration between Fahadh and director Dileesh Pothan after Maheshinte Prathikaaramand Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. The film is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on April 7th.
Fahadh Faasil is on a roll. After the trailer release of Irul and Malik, Fahadh Faasil's next movie Joji is teaser is out. This is the third collaboration between Fahadh and Dileesh Pothan after Maheshinte Prathikaaram and Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum.
The film is written by Syam Pushkaran who was the screenplay writer of Maheshinte Prathikaram and dialogue writer of Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. The film is slated to release on April 7th, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
The teaser shows Fahadh Faasil is fishing for long minutes, walking around picturesque places and coming back to fish again.

"The voice of your eyes is deeper than your speech," says the tweet put out by Amazon Prime Video IN, along with the teaser. The quiet teaser gets darker towards the end and the music turns menacing as something finally gets caught in the fishing rod. But there, the teaser ends.

Joji is said to be based on Shakespeare's Macbeth. According to Youtube's description, Joji, an engineering dropout and the youngest son of the rich plantation family lives with his aspirations of becoming a super-wealthy NRI. But his father sees down on him as a proper loser. Driven by greed and blind ambition, Joji finally decide to execute his plans following an unexpected event in the family. Will he succeed in achieving his dreams?
Fahadh has a few highly anticipated films waiting for release. Irul, in which he acts alongside Darshana Rajendran and Soubin Shahir, will be released on Netflix on April 2. Malik, directed by Mahesh Narayanan will be a theatrical release in May. Malayankunju, in which he acts alongside Rajisha Vijayan, is currently being shot.
