Directed by Aneesh Anwar and produced by Haseeb Haneef under the banner of Achicha Cinema, Grandfather features Jayaram in the titular role.
My Great Grandfather has Jayaram playing a role he has never done before. He plays a grandfather for the first time in this Aneesh Anwar directorial. The film tells the simple tale of a Malayalai family and has a little boy doing a pivotal role.
The film also stars Surabhi Santhosh, Anusree and Divya Pillai, Dileesh Pothan, Dharmajn Bolgatty. Produced by Haseeb Haneef and Manju Badhusha, the film has script by Sahni Khader, music by Vishnu Mohan Sithara, Editing by Renjith Touchriver.
The rest of the actors in this entertainer comprise Senthil Krishna, Soubin Shahir, Baburaj, Baiju Santhosh, Vijayaraghavan, Sharafuddin, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Dileesh Pothen, Sajan Palluruthy, Sunil Suhara, Asha Aravind, Johny Antony, Hareesh Kanaran, Jaffer Idukki and Mallika Sukumaran.
