The Malayalam film "Adrishya Jalakangal," directed by Dr. Biju and starring Tovino Thomas, has been selected to screen at the 44th edition of the Fantasporto International Film Festival. Portugues.
The film has been selected in the main competition section and the Orient Express competition for Asian Films. The film will be screened on March 7. Interestingly, Adrishya Jalakangal (Invisible Windows)’ is the only film from India to be screened at the festival this year.
Tovino Thomas made the exciting announcement via his social media handle. "More festival screenings around the globe. Marking Malayalam cinema globally!" a poster shared by Tovino reads. The actor also wrote a note, on when and where the film will be screened. His note reads, "Adrishya Jalakangal (Invisible Windows) Next stop is at 44th Fantasporto International Film Festival, Portuguese (March 1 to 10th 2024) . The film has been selected for Official main competition section and also for Orient Express competition for Asian Films. More than 400 feature films has been submitted to Fantasporto festival this year, among which 90 feature films from 32 countries are selected. "Invisible Windows" is the lone entry from India this year. The film has been screening on 2024 March 7th 6.45 PM at the historic Batalha Centro de Cinema, Hall 1.Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Anil Kapoor, Farah Khan & more attend Fighter screeningAn anti-war film, ‘Adrishya Jalakangal’ also features Nimisha Sajayan, and Indrans in pivotal roles.
