Diana Penty debuting in Dulquer Salmaan's next

Bollywood actress Diana Penty is thrilled about making her debut in Malayalam. Earlier today (February 9), she took to social media to reveal that she has begun shooting for the film. Diana also posted a photo alongside her co-star Dulquer Salmaan from the shooting spot. The Varane Avashyamund star extended a warm welcome to Diana Penty with a sweet message.

On Tuesday, Diana Penty took to Twitter to open up about her Malayalam debut film. She has signed a film opposite Dulquer Salmaan, which will be directed by Rosshan Andrrews. The shooting of this film began recently in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Taking to Twitter, Diana Penty wrote, "Cheers to new beginnings! Super excited to join @dulQuer, #RosshanAndrrews and the whole crew on this new journey - my first Malayalam film! Looking forward to the ride (sic)."

Dulquer Salmaan extended a warm welcome to Diana Penty and retweeted her post on Twitter. He wrote, "As are we to have you on board !!! (sic)," with several hug and clap emojis.

According to reports, Diana Penty and Dulquer Salmaan's film has been titled Salute. However, the makers of the film haven't revealed anything about the title. The film was supposed to commence in early 2020, but it had to be postponed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Majority of the portions will be shot in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and they are planning to complete the film in a couple of months. The technical crew consists of editor Sreekar Prasad and composer Santhosh Narayanan.
