C U Soon Trailer: Fahad Faasil's dekstop thriller his on the path of 2018 Searching.

During this COVID times, makers are pushing their boundaries and making some out of the box content. The trailer of Amazon Prime’s upcoming Malayalam release C U Soon was unveiled on Tuesday. 

This Mahesh Narayanan directed thriller, which has been completely shot on an iPhone during the lockdown, unfolds completely on a digital screen.

The trailer reminds one of Hollywood thriller Searching, which completely unfolds on a computer screen. These kinds of genre are known as a desktop thriller. This film was about a father’s search for his missing daughter via a string of some hidden truths unravels when he checks her laptop.

C U Soon, on the other hand, is about a software engineer from Kerala who has been assigned by his family to help his Dubai-based cousin find his missing fiancée after she leaves behind a video-based suicide note.

It is starring Fahadh Faasil, Roshan Mathew and Darshana Rajendran, will premiere globally on Amazon Prime Video on September 1, 2020.
