Tovino Thomas, known for his memorable performances in Minnal Murali and 2018 - Everyone Is A Hero, is all set to dazzle audiences with his 50th film, titled ARM.

This epic Pan-India fantasy saga is directed by debutant Jithin Lal and is being crafted entirely in 3D, making it one of the most technologically advanced films in the history of Malayalam cinema.

ARM has been generating considerable buzz since its announcement, and the release of the film's trailer has only heightened excitement. The trailer opens with a striking sequence of a fiery asteroid colliding with Earth, triggering a massive explosion, while an old woman narrates the legend of Maniyan. The narrative spans multiple time periods—1900, 1950, and 1990—set in Northern Kerala, and introduces Tovino Thomas in three distinct roles: Maniyan, Kunjikkelu, and Ajayan. Each character is tasked with protecting a crucial treasure across generations.

The film is a visual feast, meticulously capturing Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. Tovino’s dedication to the project is evident, as he underwent rigorous Kalaripayattu training to deliver high-impact action sequences. The visuals, crafted by cinematographer Jomon T. John, along with thrilling stunts coordinated by Vikram Moore and Phoenix Prabhu (famous for their work in Kantara), promise a cinematic experience like no other.

Adding to the film’s allure are leading actresses Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi, who play significant roles in the story. The film also features a stellar supporting cast, including Basil Joseph, Jagadish, Harish Uttaman, Harish Peradi, Pramod Shetty, and Rohini. The screenplay, penned by Sujith Nambiar, and the music composed by Dibu Nainan Thomas, further elevate the grandeur of ARM.

Scheduled for release on September 12, 2024, ARM will be available in six languages—Malayalam, Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada—aiming to make a significant impact both nationally and internationally. With its cutting-edge VFX, compelling narrative, and star-studded cast, ARM is set to be one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious and visually stunning projects.
