Anand Madhusoodanan and Chinnu Chandni starrer "Vishesham" is gearing up for its release on July 7, and the makers have recently unveiled the trailer. Directed by Sooraj Tom, this comedy-drama addresses the often-asked question faced by newly married couples, "When are you going to give the good news?"
The film features Anand Madhusoodanan as Shiju Bhaktan, who embarks on a journey to find a bride. Once married, he and his partner are inundated with questions and suggestions about family planning, ranging from inquiries by immediate family members to advice from strangers on infertility treatments. "Vishesham" promises to be a slice-of-life narrative, highlighting the societal pressures on newlyweds.
The cast also includes Baiju Johnson, Althaf Salim, Johnny Antony, P.P. Kunhikrishnan, Vineeth Thattil, Suraj Pops, Maala Parvathy, Shiny Sara Rajan, Jilu Joseph, Bhanumathi Payyannur, Ajitha Menon, Amrita, and Ann Saleem in pivotal roles. The cinematography is handled by Sagar Ayyappan, with editing by Malavika V. N. Manjusha Radhakrishnan serves as the costume designer, and the art direction is managed by Anish Gopal. Anjana Sagar (Kai) is the DI artist, Arun Rama Varma is responsible for sound design, and Subramanian Manjali is the makeup artist.
"Vishesham" will hit theaters on July 7, providing a humorous yet insightful look into the pressures faced by newly married couples.
