Prithviraj Sukumaran's '9' is releasing this week! Though the movie is set at a Hill Station, Aligning to the stereotypes of Horror films in India, it has garnered great appreciation for its stunning visuals. Karan Johar also Tweeted appreciation for the trailer.
Prithviraj Sukumaran plays Albert, a young father desperate to protect his seven-year-old son Adam from nightmarish visions in the trailer of Jenuse Mohamed’s science-fiction-horror-thriller film '9'. Adam is expelled from his school and spends his days and nights running away from dark shadows and strange, mysterious occurrences. Things are only about to get even worse in the next nine days. “Look up at the sky, Albert,” says a voice in the trailer. “The answer to all your questions will come from there. You must not face these upcoming nine days with fear.”
The visuals are stunning! Abinandhan Ramanujam was the cinematographer. High precision movie camera was required for filming as almost 60 percent of the film was to be shot at night. Beginning from its second schedule in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, the Red Gemini 5K camera was used for filming, in its debut use in Indian cinema. These innovations and efforts reflect in Visuals of Trailer.
