Will Vijay Sethupathi will be a part of Shivarajkumar’s 'Ghost'?

After roping in biggies from Mollywood and Bollywood, the team has now approached Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi for an important role in the film.

According to sources, the team approached Vijay two weeks ago and the actor has responded positively. Final modalities, including dates, are being worked out and the team is likely to make an official announcement in March.

The actor, who was last seen in Hindi webseries Farzi, alongside Shahid Kapoor, has a couple of Tamil and Bollywood projects in hand. He was earlier approached to play Siddaramaiah for the politician’s biography, titled Howdu Huliya. The project fizzled out later.

Vijay had acted in the Kannada film, Akhaada. Filmed in early 2008, Vijay plays a negative character in Akhaada. The film, however, did not see light of the day and was finally released in Hindi on YouTube in 2019.
