Veteran Kannada Actor, Director, and Producer Dwarakish Dies at the Age of 81

Veteran Kannada actor, director, and producer Dwarakish passed away early Tuesday morning at his home in Electronic City at the age of 81.
Born on August 19, 1942, in Hunsur, Mysuru district, Dwarakish gained immense popularity for his comedic roles, becoming a well-known figure across Karnataka. Bengaluru.
Industry sources reported that the actor had experienced respiratory issues on Monday night and later peacefully passed away in his sleep. However, the cause of his death is believed to be age-related ailments. The family is yet to finalize arrangements for the public viewing of his body.
Dwarakish began his journey in Kannada cinema as a comedic actor in 1964. Following his success as an actor, he transitioned into film production and direction. He made his debut as a producer with the iconic Dr. Rajkumar film, "Mayor Mutthanna," in 1969. Throughout his career, he produced around 48 films and directed nearly 19 movies.
