Long-awaited Upendra and Vedhika starrer 'Home Minister' is all set for theatrical release. In a press meet on Wednesday (March 3rd) they announced the release date and also spoke to the media about the film - both Upendra and Vedhika attended, along with director Sujay K. Srihari. 'Home Minister' will release in cinema halls on the 1st of April.
Upendra, while addressing the media, spoke of the film's subject matter and the fact that although the title suggests a political story, the audience will be surprised to know that it is quite the opposite. "They may expect this Home Minister to be a political story but will find a completely different Home Minister on the big screen. This is genuinely a different and interesting film that is sure to entertain the audience - every actor has done a great job here," said Upendra.
Multilingual actor Vedhika, who was last seen in the 2017 film 'Gowdru Hotel', makes a comeback of sorts to Kannada cinema. She spoke about the golden opportunity of working alongside Upendra at the press meet and that every performance in the film is likely to stand out. Tanya Hope, Suman Ranganathan, Abhimanyu Singh, and others too will be seen playing key roles in the film.
Another highlight of 'Home Minister' is popular Tamil music composer M. Ghibran making his Kannada debut with the film.
‘Home Minister’ is produced by Poornachandra Naidu and Srikanthu under Srreyas Chitra and Watercolor Entertainment banners.
