The shooting of Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2 has been stopped mid-way following court orders.

In a sudden move, the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court in Kolar Gold Fields passed an interim order to stop the film's shooting that was progressing at Cyanide Hills.
Actor Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 1 made people across the world sit up and take notice of Yash and Kannada cinema. The film, which was primarily shot in Kannada, was dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. The second part titled KGF: Chapter 2 is being shot currently.
In a sudden move, the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court in Kolar Gold Fields passed an interim order to stop the film's shooting that was progressing at Cyanide Hills. Srinivasa, a local resident is said to have filed a petition stating that the team of KGF is causing environmental damage in the process of shooting for the film.

On hearing the case, the judge passed an interim order to stop KGF's filming. The makers of KGF: Chapter 2 is yet to react to this latest controversy.
The shooting of the sequel to KGF began early this month in Cyanide Hills. It is said that the makers had erected huge sets for the film in Kolar Gold Fields. According to reports, KGF: Chapter 2 is expected to hit the theatres in summer 2021.
