Shivarajkumar wants Govt to allow 100% occupancy in cinema halls with necessary precautions

Sandalwood superstar Shivarajkumar recently pitched a video request to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai for allowing 100% occupancy in cinema halls to ensure the Kannada film industry, which is still facing many financial issues, which can slowly get back on its feet.

Shivarajkumar believes that 100% occupancy works as people are ready too. "Everyone is stepping out. We will take the necessary precautions, of course. But, what we need to implement is the confidence to live with the problem with precautions and not avoiding it" he says.

He further adds, "We intend to meet the Chief Minister. We will go when we get the notification from the film chamber as and when our meeting is scheduled. We have a bunch of producers and artistes who will also join to place our request. I am of the opinion that 50% occupancy is not the solution. Other states have taken bold steps, so we feel our government too can go ahead with similar implementation."
