Science-fiction film 'Mandala' releases in cinema halls today

Science-fiction film Mandala starring Kiran Srinivas, Sharmiela Mandre, Samyukta Hornad, Anant Nag, and Prakash Belawadi in lead roles releases in cinema halls today (10 March 2023). The film has been backed by Ajay Sarpeshkar Films.
Making a debut as a producer with this film, Ajay Sarpeshkar says, “The film has a U certificate. It is meant to inspire young minds to explore space, science and technology. Science fiction is not a genre that is common in the Kannada film industry. The x factor in here is the performance by the lead actor Kiran and of course the story.”
Ajay adds, “Having studied engineering, and working in tech for over a decade, we designed our own spaceship for this film without relying on online information – all this was done to ensure the film is based on scientific facts. Without being preachy, we show how technology is used to detect UFOs.”
