Sandalwood movie ‘Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu’ to be remade in Bollywood!

Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu is a 2016 Kannada superhit starring Anant Nag, Rakshit Shetty, Vasishta N. Simha, Sruthi Hariharan in the lead.
Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu directed by Hemanth M. Rao paves its way to Bollywood. Rakshit Shetty confirmed the news by sharing the post in his facebook account. Pushkar Mallikarjun under Pushkar Films banner produced the film. The remake rights for the movie has been acquired by VJ Productions. Filmmaker Hemanth M. Rao was quoted saying, “The discussions have been going on for a while. Finally, they’re confirmed. I’m extremely proud that Kannada films are being picked up to be remade in Hindi. This is a great feeling,”. Recently, remake rights of 2016 hit Sandalwood movie “Kirik Party” was also acquired by Ajay Kapoor. Rumors are that Siddharth Malhotra will be playing the role of Rakshit Shetty. It is happy to know that the once overlooked movie industry ‘Sandalwood’ is now rising with more content-based movies.
