Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara' Hindi continues to dominate in the box office figures

The extended weekend due to Diwali worked in the favor of the Kannada blockbuster. Gradually, it earned better numbers over this week. Good word-of-mouth has helped the film's business. The Hindi version of the film was released on October 14. The film achieved a new milestone by beating Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1's lifetime collection in Hindi.

The film minted good numbers on October 27. As the Hindi version completed 14 days in theatres, it has achieved yet another milestone. In spite of competition from 'Monster', 'Sardar' and 'Prince', 'Kantara' is expected to have a longer run time in theatres. 'Kantara' is also at No 1 in the list of India’s Current Top 250 Films which was released by IMDb recently.

'Kantara' has been raved about by many celebrities and critics and stunned the trade pundits at the box office who didn't expect this kind of phenomenon by a Kannada film. 'Kantara' started slow at the box office and picked up the speed once the word-of-mouth spread tremendously making it a true blue sensation across the county.
